Reds, yellows, oranges....
Those are the colors gracing the 20 acre hill in which the Skrivseths reside...I personally do not remember a time ever before that the trees on OUR hill turns quite so radiant. Maybe i just have a short memory or maybe they truly never have changed who knows....always in town there are dogwoods turning red, maples turning yellow, etc... but on the Skrivseth hill? nope....
in other news the weather here has been absolutely amazing....finally it cooled off and no need for a/c or heat for about 2 months now! :-) maybe less....yesterday if froze for the first...not a hard killing frost but frost none the less...means winters coming ready or not!
the boys have been hunting.....dad too! i've been painting....mom's been sewing....andrea and gwynndon started milking for two other farmers close....and the rest just been going to school and doing their normal stuff...Last night and next sunday night i get to milk extra cause Carl's went and are going away....he had to preach yesterday at 2 other churches...and they are leaving tomorrow for Nicaragua to see their son Joel and also a niece, Carmen, who just recently went down there....
i think tomorrow i shall go take some pictures of those blazing leaves.....
