well, silence is coming to an end! ;-) life is good here...busy of course but we're surviving! Last week Ryan, Andrea, and I went to Nicaragua for just over a week. I really enjoyed the trip but about Saturday i was ready to get out of the heat...apparently it was as hot as it gets down there since rainy season hadn't started yet...it actually rained Monday night...Rainy season started May 1. And Monday night woulda been Apr 30. :-)
The guys put up a house and a few of them dug a hole for an outhouse. We girls did a lot of cleaning for the Missionaries down there. Then one day the whole group went out to Palmerita to help Jason Althouse move his cook shed. He had a bad accident and broke several bones...leg and arm...and is just getting back on his feet. While he was down his house was sold so he bought the one across the street. it was an interesting operation! :-) the moving that is! we also cleaned up his yard and transplanted some plants for him...banana's, coconut tree, and some colorful plants of some sort.
One day we went shopping and another day climbed a volcano. The group is in front of the Volcano we climbed. i was glad to be at the bottom of that thing cause we pretty much walked straight down the side. My grandma would still be at the top and i almost just walked down the other path that was a lot safer to me! ;-) Monday us girls we didn't have anything to do so we went material shopping again....all told i purchase 5 pieces. we also got some really good coffee! :-)
Some times i wonder....why do i even blog? do ppl even read it? but then i wonder am i selfishly wanting ppl to notice? do they have to comment? I rarely comment on other's posts...so why should they comment on mine? I do try to comment all the time! but for some reason since my computer is so slow....the internet anyway...it tells me i'm not allowed to....so even if you don't see a comment from me know that i wanted to! and maybe that's everybody elses problem! the same one i have! their internet's being snotty! ha! ;) I love to read all the blogs i do read and wish like crazy that i could comment! so here a some comments i've thought about recently.... Amy...I loved your Christmas blog! and i know ya'll might get tired of me saying this...but it almost brought tears to my eyes...thinking as how we miss out on that kinda stuff here in South Carolina.....since everybody else...or a bunch of everybody else is way out there! But thanks for the pictures and all...
