well, where too start?!
fall is here....the cotton is ready -but it keeps raining so it's getting wet...and your can't bale wet cotton (i don't think). And it wasn't a good year for cotton anyway so now it's really sad looking, so our southern snow is not so white....

Here are my visitors from last week! they were here all week and we got some stuff finished! the dishwasher, fridge, 2nd bathroom, and dryer are all hooked up....there is a new porch on the side of the house....and there is gutter on the backside of the house! plus i got a bunch of trim finished and ready to put up...

This is my back door....its still got junk from what Ryan left...and it was taken in the dark but i made the flower bed one day several weeks ago....after faithful watering about everyday and fertilizing biweekly the flowers are finally blooming and taking off! Yay! i only killed about 3 petunias! :-) the white flowers are revived from what i planted in a pot this spring..and the dianthus (kinda straggly yet) i planted from seed in the garden earlier in the year! i just cut the herbs all back on Saturday and they already are looking good and grown out 3 days later! The one Gerber daisy plant has 4 flowers on it! it was blooming beautifully when i got it and then didn't bloom all summer! the minute i plant it in the ground it takes off!
The purple and white petunia is one of 2 that survived the wet summer! they didn't fair so well with all the rain we got this year! and the long straggly mum is whats left from something i bought last fall and never planted!
just a close up of the otherside....it all still needs work but is a definitely improvement from the nasty beach sand that was there before!
