Best Springtime EVER!

After a Long Long, Cold winter comes the spring….And now we are having a long cool spring! I think this year we are maybe getting distinct seasons. I like that….The other day I noticed the weather widget on my phone hadn’t been updated since May 2nd, I think it was, and the current temperature on it was 46*F….Now that is a might frigid for South Carolina it seems to me for May. I might be forgetting but I don’t remember such a cool May for a long time…We are definitely not complaining about the weather these days! Well, I’m not for sure…I think there may be some ppl around here who don’t appreciate cooler weather like I do….but hey I’m content with it! This morning we had a lesson on contentment in Sunday school class…Maybe my definition of Contentment is twisted some! J

This spring have been wet, this spring has been dry, this spring has been hot, this spring has been cold….I haven’t seen many 90*F days but there have been a few in the upper 80’s…And the Humidity! It’s been next to NONE! I think there was a day or two….but bearable….but then again maybe I’m just used to it again…

This spring I have spent HOURS outside…probably more than in…I Started picking Strawberries the beginning of April about 3 days a week at a local U Pick patch…Most Mondays we pick a massive amount to send to Virginia to the guys in-laws store…and the other days we just do for orders and right now the berries a DELICIOUS! So people are ordering hordes of them… and besides that I have been working outside a lot…Last week I hoed and a mulched my garden on my days off…so between milking approximately 3 ¼ hours 8 different times and about 15 hours at the strawberry patch plus my garden work I logged 50ish hours on my feet….No wondered I felt drug thru the mill yesterday afternoon! It was a good week tho! I got most of my to do list accomplished which doesn’t happen so often…but I forgot to pick my peas yesterday….and tomorrow I work…so by Tuesday who knows how many and how big they will be! J

This spring has been the most beautiful one of my remembering…or maybe it’s just that we had such a hard dreary winter? I don’t know…whatever the case, it was lovely!
